We had a fantastic horseback ride in the mountains above the Greys River. Although the last-minute location change added about 50 minutes to our drive, it was absolutely worth it. My 9-year-old daughter, who was riding for the first time, had a great experience. She lost her hat a couple of times along the trail, but otherwise did very well and thoroughly enjoyed the ride. One suggestion I would make is to offer riding helmets for guests who would like them. Thankfully, no one fell from their horse, and safety was clearly a priority. In fact, Louie kept a close eye on everyone in our group and even stopped all eight riders at one point to adjust saddles and make sure everyone was comfortable and secure. Louie and Ava, our wranglers and guides, were outstanding. They were friendly, attentive, and made the experience enjoyable for riders of all skill levels. For first-time riders, I think the one-hour ride is the perfect length. My only other suggestion would be for the wranglers to offer to stop at the highest point of the trail for a group photo. The scenery is incredible, and it would have been a great opportunity to capture the experience. Of all the trail rides I've been on, this was one of the best. The views were spectacular, the trail wasn't dusty, the horses were well cared for, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and professional. You simply can't beat the scenery on the back side of Prater Mountain overlooking the Greys River. We made some great family memories and would gladly do this ride again.

We had the best time glamping and trail riding with Jackson Hole Outfitters. Trey has the most hard working and fun staff of wranglers that truly make your experience one you will never forget. We took a half-day horseback trail ride with Jackson Hole Outfitters. Our guides, Ave and Katie were incredible friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time and enjoyed every part of the experience. The day was beautiful, the scenery was awesome and the trail itself was easy going. Most of our horseback riding has been on trails that had us going up and down mountains with trails right on the edge and this one was perfect. A nice easy ride on a beautiful day. I would highly recommend.

There was a little confusion initially about the ride we had paid for but the guides were quick to accommodate us & we had an awesome ride. The trails went through beautiful scenery & we saw quite a bit of wild life. The dinner after the ride was great as well. We enjoyed it so much we recommended it to our fellow campers & they booked a trail ride right away! Highly recommend

We had a great experience on our one hour ride! Louie and Katie were both amazing guides — friendly, patient, and made everyone feel comfortable regardless of riding experience. The horses were calm and well cared for, and the trail/views were beautiful.
